Recording Consent

Tinker Tech Kids classes are conducted via Zoom and may be recorded for the sole purpose of providing a class replay to enrolled students. By registering for and attending a class, you (and, where applicable, the parent or guardian of a minor student) consent to being recorded during that session.

Recordings are not shared publicly, sold, or used for marketing purposes. Access to class recordings is limited to students who were enrolled in that specific class session and is provided through the Tinker Tech Kids dashboard.

If you do not wish to appear on camera, you may keep your video off during the session. Audio may still be recorded. If you have concerns about recording, please contact us before your class at [email protected].

Use of Zoom

Our live classes are hosted using Zoom Video Communications, Inc. By joining a Tinker Tech Kids class, you are also subject to Zoom's Terms of Service and Zoom's Privacy Policy. Tinker Tech Kids does not control Zoom's data practices. We encourage parents to review Zoom's policies regarding the collection and use of data.

The Zoom meeting link for your class will be sent via email prior to your session. Please do not share this link publicly. Each link is intended only for enrolled students.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Tinker Tech Kids is designed for use by children under parental or guardian supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. Accounts are created by parents or guardians on behalf of their children.

We collect only the information necessary to provide our services — including name, email address, shipping address (for kit orders), and payment information processed securely through Stripe. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Your Data & Privacy

Information collected by Tinker Tech Kids is used solely to fulfill orders, deliver classes, and communicate with you about your account. We use the following trusted third-party services to operate our platform:

• Stripe — secure payment processing
• Supabase — account authentication and data storage
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Shippo — shipping label generation
• Zoom — live class delivery

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not share it with parties outside of those listed above. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected].

Cancellations & Refunds

If you need to cancel a class reservation, please do so at least 48 hours before the scheduled class time via your dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund or a credit toward a future class.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before class are generally not eligible for a refund, as materials and instructor time have been reserved. We will do our best to accommodate extenuating circumstances — please reach out and we will work with you.
